EU financing for Wawel renovation
More than 13 million zloty (over 3 million euro) from Brussels will support the renovation of the Wawel castle in Cracow. A special agreement has been signed by the Polish culture minister Bogdan Zdrojewski.
„Rabbit a la Berlin” – Oscar nominee
The short documentary film by Bartek Konopka has been nominated for Oscar. It deals e.g. with the transformation in 1989.
Among awards is also a Polish internet portal on culture - „Purpose: przedsiębiorczosc w kulturze". It promotes and informs about career in culture field and international cooperation, also with Visegrad countries.
