Black Sea Fleet for gas - Ukraine get tied with Russia

The Ukrainian Parliament ratified 27 of April a controversial agreement with Russia, giving Moscow the possibility to have its Black Sea Fleet in Crimea till 2042.

Ukraine does not end in Crimea

The EU should not fear to lose Kiev. It should react on the Russian-Ukrainian agreement about the prolongation of the Black Sea Fleet with more engaged Eastern policy.

After the first round of the election in the Ukraine

Legal expert: No never-never land with Lisbon Treaty

Ivo Šlosarčík is a lecturer of European and international law at Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles Univesity, and New York University in Prague. He is an expert on legal issues of European integration, judicial and police cooperation in the EU, and Czech reform of civil service and judiciary. He participated in the seminar on the ways how to influence European legislation in the new legislative framework after the Lisbon Treaty organised by the Institute for European Policy Europeum.
