Protests over the future of Czech science continue

Czech researchers will gather today to protest against cutting the support for Czech Academy of Science. But the decision was already taken by the previous government of Mirek Topolánek.

Czech research to profit from EU funds

Czech Republic received 6.4 billion CZK to fund innovation and research through the Operational Programme Research and development for innovation. Nearly one third of the money will support four selected projects.

EIT launches first "Knowledge and Innovation Communities"

Legal expert: No never-never land with Lisbon Treaty

Ivo Šlosarčík is a lecturer of European and international law at Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles Univesity, and New York University in Prague. He is an expert on legal issues of European integration, judicial and police cooperation in the EU, and Czech reform of civil service and judiciary. He participated in the seminar on the ways how to influence European legislation in the new legislative framework after the Lisbon Treaty organised by the Institute for European Policy Europeum.
