Economy vice-minister calms down: EU 2020 contains cohesion policy

Economy vice-minister calmed down MEPs of two Sejm`s committees on Wednesday saying the EU 2020 Strategy pays attention to the cohesion policy.

EU assistance for Poland from Solidarity Fund?

Because of the high water level Poland should apply for the EU- Solidarity Fund. Its transport and infrastructure, particularly in southern Poland has been affected strongly.

Additional money for Poland, Czech Republik and Slovakia

Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia will get together 1 billion euro from European funds for the period 2011-2013. As the European Commission informed this is due to the higher than estimated economic growth in these countries

Poland spends more money from EU this year

European Commission approved the Polish regional help for Dell Products Polnad, which should open new factory in Lodz.

Legal expert: No never-never land with Lisbon Treaty

Ivo Šlosarčík is a lecturer of European and international law at Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles Univesity, and New York University in Prague. He is an expert on legal issues of European integration, judicial and police cooperation in the EU, and Czech reform of civil service and judiciary. He participated in the seminar on the ways how to influence European legislation in the new legislative framework after the Lisbon Treaty organised by the Institute for European Policy Europeum.
